How we handle your data — in plain English.
Last updated: February 2026
We collect only what's necessary to provide the MyDailyCheck service:
We know that your loved one answered — not what they said or did.
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase on Canadian infrastructure (ca-central-1, Montreal region). All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted by role-based policies — family members only see their own loved ones, and care staff only see their assigned clients.
We use Twilio to place phone calls and send text messages. Twilio processes phone numbers and call/text metadata as part of delivering the service. You can review Twilio's Privacy Policy for details on their data handling practices.
We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication. Supabase infrastructure is hosted in Canada.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request. In the future, self-serve data deletion will be available from your account settings.
MyDailyCheck is designed to comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We collect personal information only with consent, for identified purposes, and retain it only as long as necessary. You have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information.
